Ok, so Miss Lissa is getting married, right? Right. Well, she went to the Bridal Show here in Richmond a couple of weeks ago and left feeling sad because she didn't win a stinkin' thing. Turns out, she won the grand prize.....that's right.....a make-over party with Mary Kay (kinda.). So Lissa invites Kelli, Laura, ACE, and myself to join in on the fun. I was a little nervous going in...and here were my thoughts....
1. I will go if B-Stud goes.
2. Woah! I get to hang out with these women two nights this week?!?!?!
3. Will I be pressured into buying things? (Absolutely! Beautiful skin is not free.)
4. How on earth is Laura missing out on this? She's gonna be bummed.
While I learned a great deal about skin care, microderm abrasion, the shape of my eyes, and how to perfect the "dash" look...I got to giggle with my best girls and win absolutely no door prizes. I think it was a full night.
And p.s. we're going again on Wednesday to have our colors done. Jealous? probably. ;)
